Mundo Milonguero ASD was founded in 2014 from an idea by Monica Maria Fumagalli (www.monicamaria.net) and Yatma Diallo (www.yatmadiallo.com), with the aim of promoting dance, music, and literary activities related to tango and Latin American culture.
Since then, in addition to its permanent tango school and courses organized also in collaboration with Vela y Tango ASD, the Association has offered workshops with international teachers, study trips, and opportunities for in-depth educational exploration.
Founded with a specific focus on the cultural aspects of tango, also reflecting the artistic training of its artistic director, Monica Maria Fumagalli, the Association has also organized, among the first in Italy, a course of Spanish based on the study of tango lyrics. This initiative was complemented by in-depth seminars on the history of tango music featuring various figures from the cultural world, and the Association has hosted the presentation of numerous books and films dedicated to tango culture.
